EM Employee Spotlight: Megan Hardwick

Megan Hardwick
Senior Account Coordinator – EMCAS

What is your role at Engle Martin & Associates? How long have you worked for the company? What office are you in?
I am a Senior Account Coordinator for EMCAS in the Tampa, Florida office. In October 2016, I relocated from Atlanta office to the Tampa office. Now, I watch turtles and alligators swim behind the office every day. I have worked for EMCAS since 2009.

Do you have any kids and/or any pets? Tell us about them.
I adopted a brown mutt named Rylee from the Atlanta Humane Society 7 years ago. The shelter named her Otter, but I quickly changed her name to Rylee. She has an unhealthy obsession with squirrels and socks.

What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time, I love to camp, be outside, or spend time at the beach. I’ve never had a bad day when my toes were in the sand.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
Life is short so love others and treat everyone with kindness.

What are the three things you cannot live without?
My make-up bag, food, and sweet tea.

Do you have any hidden talents?
Is being terrified of worms a hidden talent? I am also a pretty good rock climber.

If a genie gave you a wish, what would you wish for?
I would wish for a lifetime of health and happiness.

Who has been the most influential person in your life?
My mom is one of the most influential people in my life. She has been my rock in good times and bad and we are the best of friends.

If you were planning a dream vacation, where would you go and why?
I want to plan a trip to Europe to visit Italy where I can drink lots of red wine and visit Greece to see the beautiful blue ocean.

What was the first concert you ever went to? Best concert you ever went to?
The first concert I ever went to was NSYNC. The best concert I’ve been to was when Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan played at The University of Georgia’s Sanford Stadium a few years ago. UGA is my alma mater, so it was great to be back in Athens watching my favorite country artists play in our stadium.
